Only the DOCX body is read. Paragraphs, explicit line breaks and tabs are retained; table text is read as paragraphs.
Headers, footers, comments, images and styles are not exported. Text inside images needs OCR, which this tool does not perform.
Good to know
- One DOCX up to 20 MB, with body XML up to 5 MB. Excessive unpacked content is rejected.
- Legacy .doc, encrypted documents and high-fidelity Word-to-PDF conversion are unsupported.
