Record one payer and the people sharing each expense. A payer may cover a bill without participating in that expense.
Amounts use integer minor units. Remaining cents go in participant-list order; paid amounts, shares and balances are then totalled.
Good to know
- Use one currency for the entire ledger. There is no currency conversion and no money is transferred.
- Settlements net debts between people, but do not claim the mathematically fewest transfers. Check names and expenses before copying.
